While many foreign manufacturers utilize fragmented supply chains involving multiple importers and subcontracted repackaging operations, Health and Hospitality Supply is proud to maintain a transparent, strategic manufacturing partnership with USMG—entirely based in the USA.

USMG pioneered proprietary nitrile manufacturing technology, building their machines from the ground up—including all electrical and mechanical components—at their 1.6-million-square-foot facility in Harvard, IL. By engineering their own machinery, USMG eliminates repair-related downtime and updates equipment in real-time, drastically simplifying the supply chain for our customers.

The latest generation of USMG machinery utilizes 1/10th the energy of traditional foreign-built machines and features a 100% water recycling system. Combined with the elimination of transoceanic shipping, the carbon footprint of our gloves is significantly lower than that of our competitors.

USMG is further strengthening domestic independence by establishing the first raw nitrile manufacturing facility in the United States. Additionally, USMG owns the only polyisoprene factory in the country, which supports their upcoming 9.1-mil polyisoprene surgical gloves.

Unlike other domestic initiatives that relied on imported Chinese equipment, USMG began its mission in 2021 by designing its own American-made technology. Today, with operations spanning Illinois, South Carolina, Ohio, and Nevada, USMG maintains an annual output capacity nearing 3 billion gloves, ensuring a resilient and reliable source of PPE for American industry.”
